I cannot express enough how utterly disappointed I am with Sushi Heroes.
Firstly, upon arrival, we were appalled to find no proper eating area, just cramped, unhygienic chairs that we dare not sit on. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning or even a fan despite the midafternoon heat. It was unbearably stuffy inside.
The service was slow. It took 30 minutes, if not more, to receive our food. Only two people were ahead of us.
When our order finally arrived, it was a horror show. Upon unwrapping the White Knight roll at home, I discovered a dead fly nestled on top. Complete waste of $17.50 as the entire roll was inedible. As for the Infinity roll, both of my friends who shared it remarked on an unsettling taste in the fish. My friend who had ate the most of that roll ended up getting food poisoning, and we are positive it was from the sushi as we all ate the same food that day. My other friend likely did not get food poisoning because they had only taken a few bites and spat it out. I likely did not got food poisoning because I never even got to sample the sushi.
This experience was beyond revolting. Even if I was offered the sushi for free, I would decline. Poor ambiance, service, and most importantly,...
Read moreSushi Heroes is my go to spot to fix my sushi needs when I want to indulge and not feel unsatisfied. They are a ghost kitchen that serves single rolls to platters and as you can see here I usually get the platter to feed multiple people at once. This is a good tray to bring to a potluck with friends & coworkers. The sushi is always fresh and they got a wide variety of rolls named all superhero’s from marvel and dc. If you want there’s benches in front you can just order, pick-up, and eat right in front. However depending on the time of day you may get some sun in your face. This location is in a warehouse plaza that has what looks to be some sort of machine business next door so it may confuse you so follow the gps and look for the signs. They separate the type of rolls into categories like fusion rolls, avenger rolls, side kick rolls, etc. So when ordering a platter the price will vary. Roughly 40-80 for 5 rolls & 125-140 for 9 rolls. My only issue with this is because majority of rolls have nicknames to them, when ordering in the app it doesn’t really tell you what’s inside the roll, only the name. So it’s wise look at their menu first to see the ingredients if you...
Read moreMy wife and I thought we would try it out considering we saw a good rating for the place, but to be perfectly honest I wasnt too happy with my overall experience there. I was expecting it to at least be a sushi restaurant you can dine-in at, the reviews online didn't indicate that, or at least I didn't see any if there were any. The building itself from the outside didn't look too intriguing and the windows on the side of the building where it looked like it was the side of the kitchen smelled very unpleasant (to put it nicely) and there wasn't much parking space either, the actual space of the restaurant you enter looks really small and is more of an 'order-for-takeout' kind of place. Which isn't a bad thing, but personally I'm not a fan of ordering sushi for takeout, especially considering how rolls usually get stale or soggy inside of a box with heat. The only reason I'm giving this a 3 star rating is because despite the flaws I noticed, their menu looked semi-appealing and is super...
