Educational Park Branch Library — Attraction in San Jose

Parking is very hard to find when nearby school is open. Their teachers take up the whole parking lot. During weekends and holidays the parking situation is better. They have multiple events for kids and separate area for kids and their caregivers. Kids area also includes few toys for kids of different ages and comfortable seating for parents. Well lit, clean and has loads of books and media in different languages. Very friendly staff who make sure all your questions and doubts are answered. Extremely exceptional service; we were approached by a helper within just a few minutes of using one of the computers to search for a specific book, and she found it for us in less than a minute. The people at the front desk are also extremely patient and have very kindly assisted my non-native speaker parents every time. Nice, clean, organized library. Many alternatives for study. I usually use quite study area, but the tables are a bit small. When you put your laptop there, it is full. Internet is ok in the morning, but gets terrible during busy hours which is between 2pm-5pm.
