As a Design Professional I have successfully furnished 8-10 suites of professional therapy offices from Home Consignment. Because this project is therapy offices, the look I am going for is cozy/comfortable, easy AND elegant. I continually find great pieces that fit these parameters from their large and ever changing selection. Because it's Marin County, the product that comes through this location is mostly great as the staff has a well trained eye to look for pieces their customers wants plus are in good shape. My client is very happy with the invoices I send him ... much better than if we ordered everything new plus I can turn the project around on a much shorter timeline, which further saves him money. I was asked by a young friend who was considering consigning with this business to go inside the building and give my opinion. This place gave me the willies! Dingy, with a lot of junky furniture that was way over priced. Nothing lighted and attractively displayed. Dirty. Flea Markety! A step up from The Salvation Army - Except for the rude, aggressive, unattractive staff. They were a step down. I doubt the reviews are genuine. I had the best experience , not only looking at the great merchandise they have available in their huge store, but by bringing my own to be sold ( within hours, really!) and especially with the staff, who is great, helpful, knowledgeable, and pretty good-looking too. One of the ladies also speaks Italian fluently and it was an added bonus for me to converse in my native language. Ladies and gentlemen, take a look at this great place we have in our county.
