I don't normally write reviews on restaurants, even when I don't like them. But the food I received from this place was so awful I had to warn others. I got a super carnitas burrito. By the time I got to the car, a ten second walk, the food was almost stone cold, I saw them make it, how is this possible? It is unsafe to keep food at lukewarm temperatures and can lead to food poisoning. It wasn't just that the food was cold, it was bad, the carnitas was mostly fat, overfried to the point of being a tasteless oily stringy mess, the rice was non-existent and the beans were dry, the gaucamole was brown and congealed and the tomatoes had turned from red to a sickly orange/yellow. It tasted awful and I ended up only finishing a quarter of it before calling it quits, I won't be visiting this place again, and I recommend you...
Read moreWell, it's a freakin' Subway, most are holes in the wall, located in the indoor or outdoor malls, am I right? So there's no atmosphere to speak of, oh wait, except for the Subway at Bon Air Mall in Greenbrea, CA,that has outdoor tables with umbrellas and manicured foliage. There's probably more Subways with atmosphere throughout the US.
The one annoying thing, for me, is the termination of Swiss Cheese. This happened about a year ago or so. Really Subway, what am I supposed to do with my order of turkey? American goes with Ham, you should know this by now! I have to buy swiss to keep on hand.
OK, I feel better. People have ordered from Subway, it's typical and most have the same menu and order options. You can watch them make your sandwich in real time. It's a good "go to" kind of place and still...
Read moreEat here at your own risk! The ladies on the staff will talk about you in Spanish if they think you don’t understand. Regularly go for lunch at this location and while the food is descent, the ladies working seem more interested in gossiping about their customers than actually helping them. This was not the first time I have experienced a lack of work ethic from the staff here but today crossed the line. Although I do not speak Spanish I do understand it enough to know when I am being talked about. They giggled and spoke about me the entire time I was waiting for my food loud enough for not only myself to hear but even guests in line were glancing in my direction to see who they were speaking about. I have never felt so humiliated!! I definitely will not...
