Prindi's Antiques & Collectibles — Attraction in Sandwich Township

Prindi's Antiques was a good experience. They have a lot of different areas and I believe probably multiple venders. The pricing seemed quite fair, reasonable. Everything seemed to be well kept, clean, and displayed well. I found an item for our new sun room, a mother feeding her baby heron. Also a new and unique goblet and a magazine from yesteryear about growing and arranging annuals. It was a successful visit. Pleasant staff were helpful when asked. Convenient parking just outside. Altogether my trip cost me about $15. Great treasure hunting trip. They do also have very clean restrooms, two of them. The antique bottle and Bible commentary are items we considered but left as we have them already. There are two floors of goods. The main floor at street level off Main and Railroad Streets. Has new owners!🥺 Spent an hour in lower level looking for books. There were no price signs anywhere but most books had $1, $ 2 penciled on inside cover page. So I surmised the 6 books I chose would be same price level. Took my basket of books upstairs and offered guy $10 for the 6 books. He called to his female partner to take a look. She picked up one book, paged thru it and said. "Oh no, these books are $8 each"!! What? Looks like when somebody has a desire to buy something, the price is THEN determined. These are USED BOOKS!! I came into the store and found an old gaming system that I was super extatic to buy as I had it when I was a child. I left it upfront so I could keep looking around. The owner of the establishment, Kelly, then takes it from me so she could up charge someone else more than double the price that they were asking. It makes me feel sick to my stomach how cruel people can be and I feel just as bad for everyone else who has been mistreated by her.
