Please beware, if you choose to drive to the Frog Lake campground and Lake from the open-gated road adjacent to the trailhead parking lot, of the major potholes on this paved-though in much need of repair-road. Please drive very slowly as you do your best to maneuver around these deep and wide holes, as avoiding them, especially in a larger vehicle, is mostly impossible. Let's hope that after Rt. 26 is repaved, this road is next? (The walking trails here are very nice; there is no water available in the trailhead parking area or near its vaulted toilet...
