Amazing trail especially in early spring so it's cold enough to scare away day hikers. Snow on the ground, but we found dry spots to setup camp. Amazingly quite, could hear the coyotes at night. Kept the campfires going and stored the food off the ground.
By the time we headed out snow was almost all gone. Fantastic backpacking trip that was so refreshingly rejuvenating. I think summer time would be awful with mosquitos... The lakes here...

Still try to get here early because it is a very popular trail. Hard to see the mountain but the views of the lakes and the forest...
