A very beautiful outlook! On a clear day mount hood will be completely visible. Oddly enough this mountain doesn’t look as big once your up on it but from a distance it’s massive. Also on a clear day you can see mount Jefferson which is also a very beautiful mountain to see. Days where it’s cloudy can also bring a different but very beautiful look so no matter when you come here there’s always something to see!

By far the most enchanting and scenic of Mount Hood vistas. Offers a 270° serene view of Mount Jefferson, Mount Hood, distant desert, and the beautiful forest rising from volcanic ashes from 200+ years ago. There is ample parking and the wildflowers along the road a gorgeous addition to the spectacular scenery. It is just below Timberline Lodge and Silcox Hut, and easily accessible on a paved road.
