My husband was fishing here and forgot some equipment at our cabin I drove it to him quickly. The lady said it was fine for me to drop it off while a older man in a white forest truck followed me and wouldnt let me back out. Yelling at me and telling me I didnt stop which I did and got permission otherwise I would nt have gone. He said it was a man at the fee station which was a lie, then he wouldnt let me back out of my spot he parked his vehicle behind, I was by myself no one else was visible. He starting yelling at me saying he was writing a ticket. I told him again I just came to drop something off and apologized again. He finally parked and I said I was leaving I found my husband and he was trying to locate the guy to see what his problem was at that point Im almost crying this guy scared me so bad. While I left I told the lady about the encounter about my encounter with him she apologized on his behalf and said she was sorry. I wont ever go back such poor and mean customer service for what $10 the greed is real. Ive been coming here for 15 years and never encounter something like this before. I wouldnt be surprised if he wrote me a ticket I also have the pay stub for the day before. I am not a rebel trying to not pay our local fee’s I know they support the park, which Im happy to support but not...
Read moreWe were strongly encouraged to visit this lake on our short stay in the Portland area. We planned a hike around the lake, but 10 minutes in, we passed a kayak rental station and since it was the middle of the historic heatwave, it seemed foolish to hike when we had the opportunity to cool off in the water. It was a great decision. Extremely beautiful and picturesque. The water was clean and cool and it wasn't too overrun with humans. With a little luck I'll forget the screeching sound of the loudest boy in the world repeatedly pushing his siblings can off a paddle board while definitely hitting puberty. It's a must see if you're the nature loving type. It was such a clear day, the snowcapped mountain in the distance looked like it was close...
Read moreFun place to walk around and enjoy the view on MT. Hood. We went there to see the view of MT. Hood. On a clear blue sky day it's amazing. The water of Trillium Lake is super clear and cold. We noticed almost everyone that was fishing had at least one fish. We saw people reeling the fish in too. Some areas, people has small fires and I loved the smell of the smoke..it really makes you feel you are on vacation even if your doing a day trip. The hike around the lake is easy and quite present. We saw a pair of beautiful Bald Eagle's flying over the lake. I was watching them and didn't think to get a picture until it was too late. Make sure you bring 5 dollars cash. There is a entrance fee to get to...
