During my visit, I had the pleasure of ordering five different meats and one cheese from the meat counter. Although there was a slight language barrier initially, the staff quickly resolved this by bringing in someone who could communicate effectively in English. The butchers were incredibly friendly, always wearing a smile and displaying a positive attitude throughout the interaction. Their willingness to assist me made the shopping experience all the more enjoyable.

I was particularly excited about making some picadillo with the meats I purchased. However, the following day, when I opened the package of lunganisa, I was taken aback by an extremely unpleasant odor. The sour and foul smell was overpowering, and it was disheartening to realize that the meat had gone bad so quickly, considering I had only purchased it the day before. As someone who dislikes wasting food, I immediately returned home, as I did not want to risk consuming spoiled meat.

While this particular incident was unexpected and disappointing, I must emphasize that in all my previous experiences shopping at Northgate Market, I have never encountered any issues with the quality of their meat. In fact, I have purchased hamburger meat from them in the past, which has always been delicious and of high quality. Therefore, I am unsure of what may have caused this isolated incident.

Though I would have preferred to return the spoiled meat to the store, the distance and time constraints have made it impractical for me to do so. Nevertheless, I believe it is important to highlight that my overall experience with Northgate Market has been consistently positive. The friendliness of the staff and their commitment to customer satisfaction have always exceeded my expectations. This unfortunate incident should not overshadow the exceptional service I have received in the past.

The hot foods are really good I recommend trying it out as well as the samples however, for people who use EBT it is important to know that the hot foods are not approved for food stamps.
