One Thousand Steps — Attraction in Santa Barbara

The inaccurate name did not take away from our enjoyment of the view at the top of the scenic walk along an uncrowded shoreline. There are actually only 150 steps from top to bottom so if you are looking for one thousand steps (as in stairs) you will have to go up and down 3.3 times. But if you just want to count your steps as in walking forward then 1000 is easy to get. I walked from the steps to where you can see Leadbetters beach and back and did 3,744 steps. A hidden treasure in Santa Barbara! Peaceful and clean. 💡It’s not really 1000 Steps, maybe 100, but if you walk along the beach, it’s surely 1000! This beach is not busy. A great place to sit and relax away from the crowd. Reading a book next to the beach is a good idea but bring an umbrella. Bring your beach shoes or slippers. The water goes all the way to the steps sometimes. Pets are welcome here. WOW! All I really could say, this place is very Beautiful! I was wondering around in the area walking to different parks and I just so happened to stumble upon this place! I've heard about this place from many Santa Barbara locals, searching on-line ( searching for places to see around Santa Barbara), also heard from many people about how beautiful this beach and staircase is!
