Orpet Park — Attraction in Santa Barbara

Secluded and under-visited park on the Lower Riviera, located directly below El Encanto and Riviera Business Park. Orpet Park is divided in half by Alameda Padre Serra and has ocean views, a large lawn area and a few benches with BBQ pits.

Because Orpet Park is on a steep incline, it doesn't lend itself well to large groups and activities. It is however a great place for a picnic, a solo outing or a dog walk.

Very nice for walks and picnics. Not much to it, just grass and a picnic table. There are two grassy areas, one on each side of the street. Also, you are basically in someone's backyard. Would recommend for locals who want to enjoy a book on the grass or a nap in the shade of a tree. We just went at the end of July and the grass was surprisingly still very green. Last year it was pretty yellow with the drought....

Beautiful little park nestled in the middle of the American Riviera. The setting is the perfect place for a smaller fido to stretch his legs, enjoy a romantic shaded picnic, or to just relax and get away from the stresses of life for a couple minutes.
