This trail offers a diverse experience, beginning in an urban setting along El Camino Real. While the cityscape may not provide breathtaking views, the anticipation builds as you approach the bay shorelines. As you pedal closer, the urban backdrop gives way to a stunning shoreline vista. Imagine the tranquil beauty of the water stretching out before you, accompanied by the refreshing breeze. The middle of the week offers a unique advantage—the whole shoreline bike trail becomes yours to explore without crowds. With every pedal, immerse yourself in the natural splendor surrounding you, taking in the sights and sounds of the shoreline. Observe the rhythmic dance of the waves, marvel at the elegant flight of seabirds, and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. This escape into nature provides a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. So, grab your bike, set off from El Camino Real, and discover the hidden gem of the bay shorelines—a trail that promises an urban-to-nature transition and a memorable journey filled with serenity and...

There is a solar charging station for...

There are other access points on San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail which you can see in the little arrows in the attached image. Trying one farther north might be nice. But the portion of the trail from here 30 minutes north is fine but not beautiful.

There’s a nice playground and bathroom at...
