Valencia Glen Park — Attraction in Santa Clarita

Valencia Glen and Valencia Meadows about 3 minutes away are essentially the same park. Small neighborhood parks with decent amenities. Very similar in scope and vibe. Big trees. Small schools adjacent. Glen does have a little more open area and two tennis courts but they are largely interchangeable. Probably not 4 star parks given the embarrassment of riches that is the SCV park system but for residents near either of these two parks they're better than 3 star so I'll...

We are home owners on the street fronting onto this park and have enjoyed it for many, many years. Park is well maintained and has been safe for children but in the last couple of years it has become a hang-out for teens and others to smoke drugs and other illegal substances. Nice park. Medium sized jungle gym with two slides and monkey bars on sand. 2 adult swings and 2 child swings with adult platforms connected so you can swing with your little ones. Sawdust play area off to the side, basketball court, and ample field space as well as 2 tennis courts right down the paseo. Tons of picnic tables and trees for shade. Water fountain and bathrooms close by....
