Sorrento Beach is the northernmost beach in SM State Beach. The parking lot is located on Pacific Coast Highway at Montana Ave. The beach has copious amount of beach volleyball courts and it's well kept and clean. The warm, golden soft sand runs between your toes with the gentle breeze. Restrooms are available nearby. No water fountain. Parking lot is available (Lot 8) and has a $12 fee-all day. There is a parking lot on PCH but it can be expensive, your other option is parking up top on Montana & Pacific and walking down the stairs. The court themselves are great, 20+ courts and there are men's height and women's heights intermixed. All the courts have straps to adjust tension and fixed lines in place.
