I discovered Demmitasse about 2 years ago and was super excited to have a new, local, little mom and pop feel, adorable coffee house to visit as a new regular. My first impression was lovely, my coffee was fabulous and the foam was tiny micro perfect foam, I quickly became a regular and brought as many people there as I could...I was so happy about it. However as time goes by, I have become more and more disappointed with not only my interactions with the employees but also my very simple basic latte. As many times as I have been there, as many friends and family members I have turned on to Demitasse, I would think by now, they would; at minimum remember my name, or my face or even just my drink considering I get the same thing every time....however when I go in there, it's as if they have never seen me before, it's shocking to be honest. Keep in mind I worked at a coffee shop for about 10 years and know very well how the coffee/customer service industry works. Now days my lattes seem thoughtless, they are light in weight and extremely overly foamy (not creamy delicious foam), I'm just constantly disappointed. I brought my old boss from the coffee shop in there on Saturday morning and he too noticed that the employees almost made it seem as though we were a burden to surve, at this point I am embarrassed that I brought him there. I love the atmosphere and the idea of their concept, it seemed perfect. I hope perhaps one day soon things will come back around to a more friendly, conscious and high quality coffee house that is welcoming and fun to go into. Thanks for taking the time to read this review, I know...

Demitasse was nice. It's a relatively quiet cafe across the street from the end of the 3rd Street Promenade, and the seating inside looks pretty cozy, with lots of cushions. That is, if you're able to get any seating. There's only a few tables, and it's an extremely small and cramped space, so it's difficult to order and wait for drinks, let alone find somewhere to sit.
We wanted to come here and try some of their coffee and work on our laptops and study, but there was no seating inside, and the WiFi was terrible. We sat at one of the tables outside for a little bit, but it just wasn't working for us.
The mocha was pretty good, nothing amazing though. The treats and snacks here are solid as well, but also nothing amazing. I wouldn't come back twice, I guess is what I'm trying to say.
They serve good drinks and good food, and cozy seating for those that are able to grab one. That's about it. In a city full of coffee shops, I expect a lot more. I come to these places with the intention of finding a comfortable place to seat and get some work done while drinking my coffee, and that's just not very feasible here. It gets four stars for providing solid and good quality products, but it's nothing more than that, and I don't think I would...

they introduced me to something called a Kyoto slow drip which is a Japanese process for making super strong coffee itās one of the neatest things Iāve ever seen other for some reason expected to come to life and become a robot and pour my coffee
Because itās one of the most unique combinations of glass and metal Iāve ever seen in my life it has a very precise feeling to it.
the staff was incredibly friendly they also had several other little contraptions making coffee that I had never seen before but they were very kind and educated me the bathroom is a gender they except most cashless forms of payment the menu greasy right when you walk in I donāt think Iāve ever seen such a neat place before.
