The park in general is fine, except of course for the rose garden. This is CLEARLY because none of the rose bushes in the garden have ever been maintained, nor taken care of to any degree, at all since they were put in the ground years ago, when the park was created. All of the bushes are ridden with rose hips because the dead blooms werent dead headed & removed. Which means that they will not grow roses ever again. Almost all of the bushes are already completely inundated with rosehips & have not grown any new rose buds for a very long time now. By Spring, the last few bushes that have only a few blooms left on them, will also be in such a horribly neglected state from lack of care, that they too will no longer grow rose buds that will bloom. I would love to care for this rose garden, as a job & make it beautiful, as it shpuld be. This park is supposed to be in honor of Andy & to comfort his forever grieving family, due to his horrific, untimely & unnecessary death by the hand of a certain Sonoma County Sheriff Deputy. It would take me at least a month working 25 to 30 hours a weeks, to even attempt to reverse the damage done from the lack of simple & basic maintenance. The bathrooms at this park are maintained daily. So why isnt nor hasnt the rose garden been maintained, at any point......EVER??? It is a not only disrespectful but also disgraceful to Andy's family & friends to see this garden in such disarray. Something should be done, to rectify this situation post haste!!!!

I live 1/4 mile from this park. When in the park was being planned, I attended some of the community input meetings. Total cost, over 2 million dollars. I'ts been open for maybe 2 years now, and already it's gone to sh*t. Overgrown and filled with weeds. (See photos. )Maybe they could have spent a little less and saved some money for maintenance?

I love this park. The restrooms are always appreciated, the food bank stops there every week, the dog park is spacious and a treat for our pooch and all of my children play on the playground or basketball courts. A family spot, makes me feel like home....

Beautiful. Something for everyone. Playground, skateboard area, nice bathrooms, dog park. I've never had any problems finding parking, even though the parking lot is small. The people are all friendly. I know that at night its something of a safe haven parking zone, and all those folks keep things cleaned up and in order. The BBQs are ample and there's like a canopy type shade structure with tables that's really nice. The only drawback is shade. Other than the shade structure, there is none. None of the parking spaces are shaded and it can get...
