I recently purchased a product from this business after being assured it was functional. Shockingly, the staff opened the product without my permission and tested it in front of me. Despite this, when I brought it home just five minutes later, it didnât work at all.
As someone who is legally disabled and occasionally has difficulty understanding people clearly, I felt incredibly vulnerable in this situation. Iâve given over a thousand hours volunteering for many organizations in Santa Rosa and Sonoma Countyâthis is my home and my community.
I attempted to contact the manufacturer, who told me the issue was the storeâs responsibility. When I returned to the store to ask for help, I was met with hostility. I was yelled at, treated with disrespect, and told to leave the premisesâall because I wanted a solution for a broken product I had just purchased in good faith.
This was my first time being treated this way by a business in Santa Rosa. Iâm shocked and disappointed. If this is how they treat a disabled community member whoâs given years of volunteer service, how will they treat others?
A customer should never be treated with contempt. At Secrets, you're not just paying for a productâyou might be paying to be mistreated. This store does not reflect the community spirit Santa Rosa is known for. Opening and misrepresenting products as âworkingâ when they clearly arenât is deceptive, and itâs...
Read moreI went in and spent over $100 on multiple products. Two of them have worked well and I am satisfied with them, but the third most expensive product was defective. The vibrator which cost more than $50 was missing the battery pack insert. I took the vibrator back to the store for the insert and the lady behind the counter was no help and told me to call the manufacturer. I was not looking for a return or store credit, just for the product I had already purchased to work. This business is very dishonest and I will not...
Read moreCame in as an unexperienced buyer and did not have a good experience. Staff don't seem to have much context or descriptions of products and I had a hard time choosing what I wanted with the little information I was given. The arcade was an interesting concept to say the least.... The staff appears to not know what they are doing, specifically, one employee and the assistant manager who helped me. Definitely recommend going to a...
