Monte Vista Motel — Hotel in Santa Rosa

Vacancy sign was on the outside of building so I saw it from the road. (I've got a broken foot so walking hurts is very slow and difficult)as we drove into the parking lot we saw two more vacancy signs, bright pink neon signs. I got to the office and the owner was extremely rude with an attitude. I asked for a room for tonight and she had to check and after looking me up and down said she had no rooms available for tonight. When I turned to leave she was even ruder. Pretty much pushed me out the door. THE PLACE HAS NO AMENITIES! NO POOL, NO AC, NO WIFI, NO REFRIGERATOR, NO PETS ALLOWED!!!! It's only like $70/night but that's not even that cheap for all of the rest of things it doesn't have!!! I CAN'T imagine ever referring this HELL HOLE TO ANYONE for ANY REASON!!!! We called to see any vacancy the gentleman said yes they do have plenty. We show up and some rude lady tells us no they do not have any vacancy available. These arabs were rude af on the phone and in person. No customer service training of any kind. The parking lot stunk of foul odor. I couldn’t imagine what the rooms would smell like. Spend a few more $$ and get a real hotel like quality inn right up the street...

Reasonably priced, rooms dated but clean, on main drag but rooms in quiet u shaped arrangement. Guys opposite had curtains parted, checking out cars pulling though. Not sure why, but I was doing the same. Short walk to adult bookstore, if that is of interest. Will...
