Bee Ridge Park — Attraction in Sarasota

I've been coming to the spark on and off for about 10 years or so. My kids really like the park and the baseball fields behind it are pretty good too. I know they try to keep the baseball fields somewhat limited to league play but if you and some friends want to get together to play baseball, softball, kickball, or something else and a field then go here. It's quiet and generally not busy. The basketball court is pretty decent. If you like to shoot long-range the roof might get in the way. But it's perfect for pickup games in crummy weather because of the roof. Go check the place out. Your kids...

This is such a nice park. It has a baseball diamond, a playground, basketball courts, volleyball sand area, a covered area with bathrooms and grills that you can rent, and another building that I have never been in so I don't know the significance of it, they even have an area where there are food plants growing. On the other side of the baseball diamonds, there are picnic tables, plenty of parking and a whole lot of fun. My family has had more than 1 party...

The amount of hours I spent at this park at the basketball courts is too much to count. Having a sheltered court is a luxury the public doesn't get to access very often-and bee ridge solves that. The volleyball courts are great, there's a nice kids play area, and the vibe is perfect for a park-not close to any major highways so it is very peaceful :) highly...
