Robarts Arena — Attraction in Sarasota

Was there yesterday for Elvis Crespo's Performance and was dissappointed by the way this place organized the event. When i first arrived i was told doors would open at 7:30 when that time came they told us 8 pm. Once 8 came around we we're told that a Speaker Blew so they had to Run to the Store to get one and come back it would take 30-40 minutes before they open the doors, then when that time was up what we were told by someone who was the said owner came out and made up a lie saying Elvis was doing a Sound Check and didn't want anyone filming him so we needed to wait a "few" more minutes which was yet another lie, We ended up waiting untill 9:30 once inside they began the Show around 9:45 with the opening acts which there were 4 "artists" ahead of elvis at this point we realized we were lied to about the soundcheck because the Hype/Cringe man on stage said "elvis just made it to his hotel and will be on his way over soon" soon ended up being 12:30. As far as Elvis Crespo's performance, it was amazing and i look forward to going to see him again but as far as this "Robarts Arena" I would never recommend this place to anyone they repeatedly lied and we're not prepared for an event. I hope they fix these issues but i will not be spending my hard earned...

Fairgrounds for a home builders show. It's a large open building. The floor was level, the vendors had a lot to show. It's a vendor show, everything went well, the building was under A/C. Not a lot more I could want for the show, and honestly, what would make it SO MUCH BETTER that it would rate more than it was a good venue? I guess it could have been LARGER, so there was more. Or there could have been a nice place to get cups of filtered Ice Water that some of the vendors who sold the water filtration systems had so we not only could quench a thirst, we could try on the wares they were selling. There could have been a better door prize, or free hot dogs or burgers or fries or who knows. The list is basically endless. But honestly being OK and just normal (a 3) in this type of thing is good enough. The suggested things would raise it up, but I can't see much beyond the water thing being something practical... But it would have been appreciated I think. The outside grounds are just that, and open field for a Fair. Um, yeah, it's a nice open grassy field. That's about as good as that gets... Please note the following observations which were made in 2022: But for animals in the Loomis Bros Circus, it is nothing short of torturous.
