Went last Saturday when my friend was visiting from up north. There were bulldozers allllll day driving so fast up and down the beach! Why why why would they do that on a Saturday when hard working families whose only chance to relax and visit is mostly on the weekend?? Stopped and asked a young person who was driving a little cart who was supervising, why this was going on and he says that they are expanding the beach and his boss was Mormon so they wont be working Sundays. Everyone on the beach was stunned. Lots of families left. We finally had to leave. My child was in danger of falling in those deep pockets where the tire tracks were, and also getting ran over , and my elderly grandma twisted her ankle. I was in shock at how fast they were going and even more astounded that they were doing this on a Saturday?!! How unfair! you know those people were getting paid overtime and they didn't care one bit! Should have went up to...
Read moreSo the parking isn't the biggest and had to wait to park, but was very clean and looked nice... The ramp was at a good angle and not to steep to get up and down safely and not to bad on my arms (wheelchair)... The beach is only about 20yards but for me in a wheelchair that's good, not far for the water... Again very clean and didn't see trash anywhere and was beautiful.... Surf is good there too, or so I was told by a couple locals 🤙🏾✌🏼🏄 it was a perfect place to relax and meditate, play games on the sand and have fun in the water plus the look out...

However, the parking in the beach-side of the road is minimal, and on a busy day one will need to park across the street, not a big issue, but worth noting. I also found the ground to be quite rocky once I got about 10 feet out into the water. Overall, excellent, small, clean, local beach that's worth going to if you're looking for a beach that escapes the tourist crowds of NSB...
