Astonishing views of the golden gate bridge. Take the 5 minute walk to the battery to have even better sights! There are restrooms but very limited number of parking spots, so plan accordingly (especially for sunset, the most popular and spectacular time). Another option is to get here on foot from one of the other spots which are not too far away.

The nicest view of the golden gate bridge. It does need a little bit of an upgrade though, the restrooms at the time I went were FILTHY! Parking can be better accommodated but plenty of street parking. This is a short and sweet stop as there isn't much around other than the epic view of the golden gate.

Sin duda te da una de las mejores vistas del Godel Gate, de aquí tiene una vista impresionante hacia todos lados, ese día que fui recuerdo no había mucha gente, aunque después poco a poco fueron llegando mas, el día estaba un poco frío pero valió la pena llegar allí, ver todo ese paisaje hace que te guste por mucho este lugar, un lugar maravilloso, en donde te puedes perder un poco y salir de la rutina del día a día, también es un lugar favorito para las parejas, ya que acuden a sellar su amor y los dejan plasmado en un candado cerrado, lo colocan y cierran jurandose asi amor por siempre

VISITORS BEWARE!!!! The bridge view is great here however, this is a known theft spot in the park and the rangers do nothing to deter it. we stopped for a total of 12 mins to walk out take a picture and return to everything stolen in our vehicle. There is one little 6x8 sign that says to not leave valuables in vehicle. If you do not walk into viewing area exactly at that spot you don't see the sign. PUT SOME LARGE SIGNS UP, Its sad that this experience has left a black mark on this...

The scenic overlook to pull off at. Closer to the bridge with majestic views of the Pacific and the Bay. The terrain along the coast is incredible and Battery Ridge offers some incredible views of it. It was busy on an overcast weekday, you may have to wait a few minutes for a parking place, but it is well worth it. As with many scenic overlooks, you don't have to stay very long to take it all in. Battery ridge is where Kodak moments happen in your picture. There are many vantage points along the route, but to literally touch the bridge, go to battery ridge.
