This is a nice, large open park with 2 - maybe even 3 - separate areas suitable for a pickup game of soccer or touch football. Note that there are no nets installed for soccer so it's really a better practice field than game field.

There is a nice, if small, playground for small children. And there are a few metal picnic tables.

The one real shortcoming is that there is no dedicated parking. You will have to park on Weathersfield or Ashwood and walk...

Woodstock Park, located on 📍400 W Weathersfield Way in Schaumburg, Illinois is a nice 5.8-acre neighborhood park that offers a blend of playground fun and natural beauty. It provides a peaceful retreat within the community for your little explorers! At this playground children can engage in active play with various climbing features, promoting strength and coordination. There were several rock climbing features that my littlest could easily climb. There were also a variety of twisty ladder climbers that provided a great challenge to my explorers. It’s always great to see explorers try something new and keep trying until they make it all the way through! Their immediate smile and confidence boost after successfully climbing it all the way through is always great to see! Cottonwood park also includes traditional swings, providing a timeless activity that children enjoy. Slides are there as well for explorers to race down. Adjacent to the playground, expansive grassy areas allow for running, picnicking, and informal sports, offering families a place to relax and explorers a space to play freely. I went there a little early, but if you went now I think you’ll find the trees covered in their spring colors! Whether you're seeking a peaceful walk, a place for your explorers to play, or a spot for a family picnic, Woodstock Park offers a welcoming and equipped environment for all ages. #schaumburg #littlechicagoexplorers #mommyandme #familyfun #outdoorplay
