Like many people, I have had a bucket list going for a very long time. The list includes things like vacation in the Maldives, hike up Mt. Everest, ride a bicycle across the western United States, have a beer with Eric Clapton, Safari across Africa, visit the Grand Prix Historique de Monaco and hike the Camino Santiago trail to name a few. About 12 years ago I had the pleasure of visiting Canepa Motorsports for the first time and on arriving back home, I added one more thing to my bucket list…purchase a car from Bruce Canepa. If you have not visited Canepa motorsports, you must schedule a time to do so. The cars that Bruce sells are some of the rarest, breathtakingly beautiful and special cars ever built anywhere in the world. His showroom alone will get you dreaming of what it would be like to sit behind the wheel of one of these pieces of history. When you walk through the maintenance shop you will be left speechless as you see the systems they have developed and impeccable attention to detail Bruce and his team have implemented when either restoring or repairing each car. So a few weeks ago I got a call from Robert Jordan who is the head of sales at Canepa motorsports. He knew that I might be very interested in a car they had for sale and he was correct. After a very pleasant and professional series of conversations with Robert, we came to an agreement and proceeded forward. He informed me that the car would be ready soon but if I would like to come down and see the car as it goes through a detailed and thorough Canepa inspection to not hesitate in stopping by. I took him up on his invitation and to my pleasant surprise I had a chance to also meet Bruce for the first time. I could tell right away that Bruce and Robert wanted me to not only be very happy with my purchase experience but they also wanted to make sure that I was going to be completely satisfied with my driving experience as well. A few days after my visit I got a call from Robert letting me know that Bruce was personally making sure that the items we discussed were all being taken care of. I hung up the phone and was blown away by the caring I was receiving from Robert, Bruce and the Canepa team. I can honestly say I have never had that experience when purchasing cars from other well-known dealers. The auto selling world could learn a very big lesson from Bruce, Robert and their team when it comes to customer care and exceeding expectations. As of today, I am excited to say I have not only purchased a dream car of mine, I purchased it from Bruce Canepa and his team….and have checked off one more thing from my bucket list. Now for the fun part…go for a drive and dream of fulfilling my next...

Kid in the candy store does not give you and honest feel for what this place is does and has a reputation for. First of all let's start with the owner he's been racing Porsches since he was old enough to drive.
Having a passion for Porsche means that they will have a lot of Porsches in here.. but wait did I mention to 959 you know that poster you had in your bedroom with a kid read with a Spanish style house 959 parked outside? Yeah so the 959 was illegal to own the roads and these guys help bring it to the US.
Beyond that they have modified the Porsche to modernize it and essentially keep it running. I don't know how many there are out there I believe under 350, suffice it to say that I on my visit, saw no less than 7 Porsche 959s. In fact, Porsche now allows these guys to badge these cars when modified, with their Porsche badge!!
In fact, they, Porsche even comes to these guys for help when they can't solve the problem on a 959 that they have in the world.
This could wrap up this review right now and be sufficient to mark this place as he must go to but wait there's more...
