We stayed here for 3 weeks in a 38' 5th wheel toy hauler in space #5- directly across from the clubhouse entrance. Spots are tight, our toy hauler took up most of the spot but we were able to pull all the way forward and we're still able to open our patio on the back of the rig. There are painted lines on each side where you had to stay within your spot, everyone hungover just a tiny bit, no matter what. We were not going to fit in our f350 into the spot no matter what we tried, so we opted out to use the patio and park the truck in additional parking spots, near the main entrance, most days were able to find parking near by. The park is clean and they have landscaping crews that come in weekly to clean up, they actually blew out our spot weekly and it made it so much better. We were there during the massive recent rainfalls so getting the leaves blown out weekly was extremely helpful. Bathrooms were nice and clean, each bathroom was shut during specific hours in the day for cleaning. I think it was 8-9am and 9-10 am for cleaning. Laundry room was also nice, lots of machines. The clubhouse was outdated with a broken foosball machine and old tattered pool table, which leads me to the reason behind my 3 star review. If you're a older retired person this park would be perfect, if you're young with young kids you're going to have issues. The minute my kids stepped into the clubhouse they were told that they couldn't be in there without adult supervision, mind you we were in spot #5 which is directly in front of the entrance door to the clubhouse with large wall windows....we could see our two kids in there very well. Well my husband and I decided to go in there and sit down so the kids could play, kids playing on the broken foosball table parts were falling on to the ground literally....I could hear someone making a huffing sound in the other room. As we're sitting there he decided to come and mop in the exact spot we were sitting in....he looked clearly pissed that we were in there so I took my kids and left. But no wonder he kicks the kids out of there...because when I walked back he was sitting in the cub house on his phone. There is no playground, so where do they expect the kids to play? My girls walked down to the tent area and we got a knock on our door as well saying they couldn't be there, where clearly other kids that lived in the park played down there with no issues. The pool closed down twice while we were there once for few days then for over a week untill we left. The pool itself is nice and warm and hot tub is also nice, it was the only thing we really looked forward to but was closed more than open in the 3 weeks we were there. Got yelled at one day for leaving my kids in the pool by themselves but didn't bother to check and see that my husband was in there with them. It appears that this place may just be geared to older people, and are possibly micromanaged and then they micromanage the people that stay there, too many idiotic rules without the why? Overall quiet and clean, not very kid friendly. Great location...
Read moreMoved into the SC ranch RV park after going through a series of struggles. We were blessed to get a rental spot. I honestly wish we never moved but we had an opportunity for work elsewhere.
Anyways, I was healing up from many operations and procedures and often very ill. Many of the residents and staff helped myself and my daughter. Giving my daughter rides to the store to shop and rides to the DR.
Help with doing the laundry. It was all lovely and such a blessing. The people that took over later changed a lot but I loved my time there.
Sjarifah works very hard to make the place as pleasant as as possible but the upper management began getting really odd. We had so much fun here back then. The rates are triple what they were prior to my first moving in.
Its overall a lovely place. Now with much higher rates, way to strict corporate policies and unnatural mail options. Things are just all down to the corporate greed.?? I dunno I just hope SC RANCH doesnt lose its charm.
I spoke to some of the residents who are still my friends and was informed about the changes.
Rates are much higher. Over 1500 a month now. 10 dollar charge per package delivered to office. They pulled the mail boxes so they could charge you. They might make you move for no reason other than wanting to put you in an empty spot because CORP doesnt want the spots empty. Not even a week. So at any given time you can be booted to a new place. Guess thats not so bad.
Please dont be upset with Sjarifah because she cant control any of these things and if it were up to her she would not make these changes.
Lets be real here - 1500 a month to stay in a trailer is not a good deal. I miss SC RANCH and will always appreciate...
Read moreI stayed here for three weeks. The first day I arrived the spot had cockeroaches coming out of a water pipe and climbing on our 5th wheel. The front desk lady was really nice and told us we can move spots so we did. But then they had us move two other times to get over the white line for some reason to do with the city. I'm more upset that I was the only one asked to move and there was 5 other rigs parked on the line like us. Also the lady behind us that lives there year around that the office told her that I brought the bugs in my RV. Which is so nasty and for them to say that was completely unprofessional. Gossiping about a guest in there place instead of taking responsibility for there water problems that pissed the cockeroachs off. In addition they aren't kid friendly and seem to not like kids ridding bikes. Why go on vacation if your kids are stuck my your RV?? I also didn't like that there was so many full timers and they really don't keep up with there stuff. Trash is everywhere. If I find a cockeroach in my rig I'm disputing my credit card charge. They need to be more friendly. They need to take better care of the grounds. All the grass was dying and look horrible. I've been on vacation for two months and this place is by far the worst rv place...
