Family owned business that's been around for decades. Complete lumberyard used to have its own on-site sawmill in Scotts Valley. Even had a sawdust incinerator way back. Prices are not the lowest, but contractors can get a discount card. Also, I've found Ace Hardware branded products to often be substandard quality. Nevertheless, it's a convenient place with lots of parking and a broad selection of products. Definitely good for home repair projects. Has a complete garden center across the street. Everyone is helpful. They have all of the building materials. They refill propane tanks. It is not a crazy labyrinth like some of the large hardware stores. The team members actually know where things are and will take you to them rather than providing a blank look of helplessness when asked. Bonus is that they have many knowledgable women working in both if the Scott's Valley stores which my spouse appreciates when she is working on projects. Such a wonderful business - so lucky to have them in the valley! They just dropped off a load of lumber to my house and I have a really awful driveway and the guy (wish I got his name) navigated it so well!
