Goosepond Colony Marina — Attraction in Scottsboro

We visit here on our boat frequently in the summer. The facilities are great! Restaurants, bathroom/bathhouses are within walking distance from docks. Almost all of the employees of the Goose Pond Marina have always made us feel very welcome and have been very friendly to us during our stays. However , there’s one employee that has made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable on two different occasions. Both encounters with her were very unpleasant. The guys at goose pond marina took excellent care of us! We hit something huge on the way through and they were kind enough to lift us out of water, hook us up with a maintenance tech, offer a cup of coffee, and provide great conversation. Peaceful and quiet The people are so friendly. The best outdoor activities with plenty water and sight seeing is amazing. And the bait shop on site which includes a restaurant with eating area.
