Have to say one of my favorite places to visit. Breath taking views of Puget sound and the Olympic mountain for an exceptional background. Few picnic tables littered about for those packing in a lunch. Plenty of hiking trails near by with plenty of parking near by and restroom. You can get to this location via the bus 31, which runs a consistantly bus schedule so be aware of the time. This place is less known and a gem for those who are looking to escape the sounds of the city but so close you almost feel you are in a different place all together. Definitely a place to explore on multiple trips.

Additionally check out and look up Fort Lawton , Magnolia another hidden gem and fir those who love history this is a must see place you will NOT be disappointed!!! Its like a ghost town but the buildings still standing.

If you made it this far I have one last tip and must see the light house down below from the cliffs. The trail is accessible and a must do !!! When you complete your hike down to the light house you will be greeted with sandy beaches and some of the best views Seattle has to offer !!! Additionally seek out magnolia's village a extremely sleepy neighborhood with some great shops...

Very nice center for Native American activities of all tribes in the Salish Sea area. Beautiful view from the center building, which has a nice event space for general gatherings. Made us feel very welcome for a memorial to a friend of Choctaw descent who recently passed away due to a Vietnam era service-related condition. The acoustics of the room when the bugler played Taps and the color guard displayed the flag, then folded it and presented it to my friend's widow enhanced the gravity of the event and made me feel we were united as Americans, something I have not felt...

What a shame! Looms abandoned and run down. Make employee out front on phone going on and on about nonsense was not the peaceful entrance I expected. Empty and random metal folding chairs on lower level. A few pieces of art upstairs horribly displayed. Gift shop closed because employee didn’t show up, we asked as the sign said open but it was not. Gorgeous statue being ignored outside and a pile of dead potted plants strewn about. No maintenance or upkeep And a single overgrown look...

Was there for Seafair Powow. One of my favorite Seafair activities. Not native, but identify with the culture. I was welcomed to share the elder tent and enjoyed the hospitality of all...The food was GREAT! I tried something different each day and it was ALL tasty.

Great place that showcases the area's historical significance to the native people. Unfortunately the gallery was closed when I visited but it is definitely a place worth checking out.
