They are a menace to feral animals but also very good at removing rodents which l believe are the worst problems. It is wheelchair accessible and parking lot close by. Read moreThis park is the best in park in Seattle. From it's various trails to the fields, meadows, and it's beach (hike to beach has a substantial elevation loss/gain) it truly is Seattle's best. Parking at beach requires a permit available at the visitor's available only to disabled, seniors 62+, and those with children 7 and under. Weekends from Memorial day weekend through Labor weekend and on those two holidays a beach shuttle is available from 10:00 Am, with the last shuttle leaving the beach at 5:30 pm at least as of the summer of 2019.
