A small center with an office desk. Various displays on animal and plant identification. Two stuffed Coyotes is disturbing to me. They are a menace to feral animals but also very good at removing rodents which l believe are the worst problems. It is wheelchair accessible and parking lot close by. Shuttle bus goes to beach in summer until Labor Day. Schedule posted at the center. You’ll need special permits here to drive down to beach where very limited parking is available. Restrooms in the center. Donation box on wall l recommend because the park has high maintenance costs not all covered by the park system. The shuttle bus is free...

This park is the best in park in Seattle. From it's various trails to the fields, meadows, and it's beach (hike to beach has a substantial elevation loss/gain) it truly is Seattle's best. Parking at beach requires a permit available at the visitor's available only to disabled, seniors 62+, and those with children 7 and under. Weekends from Memorial day weekend through Labor weekend and on those two holidays a beach shuttle is available from 10:00 Am, with the last shuttle leaving the beach at 5:30 pm at least as of the summer of 2019. Absolutely...

South Beach Area was beautiful. On a clear day, to the South you can see a grand view of Mt Rainier. To the West you can see the majestic Olympic Mountains. Sunsets are absolutely amazing. Dogs are not allowed on any beaches in Seattle and signs are posted. Lots of drift wood you can collect. Be careful where you are walking, near the shoreline because lots of living sea creatures are there!! Enjoy!!

Some sort of school in the back, it was cold this morning, all the bathrooms and school rooms were open, I thought it was part of the visitor center. Lady acted all rude and told me bathrooms were only for preschoolers. There should at least be signs, also strange all the doors were open with it being November 1st at 930am
