I absolutely100% love this park! I am old enough to remember a sad time before this place existed when the closest you could get was no longer existent road that went from the 5way intersection to the harbour ave 7-Eleven. This park is a little odd in it's access as if you want to get to the really good stuff you have to go over the railroad tracks, through the gate, around the storage lot and navigate your way through a minefield of speedbumps before you finally get to what is my absolute favorite view of the Seattle Skyline as seen from West Seattle. Read moreTucked away as a complete escape from the noise of city life (but with a beautiful collaboration of industrial and natural landscape features), this has to be one of the most well thought out projects within our parks department (and now in my top 3 parks of Seattle)! The winding path of Jack Block leads you through rolling green hills and along lush and tree-lined paths, with a payoff to beaches and panoramic views of our port and downtown Seattle cityscape. Dogs are permitted on-leash throughout the park but not on the beach. There is a well maintained restroom at the park entrance and a small play area for kids. It looks as though fishing is also permitted here. What an incredible restoration project from the city to liven up our Puget...
