UPDATE: After the store responded here, I returned after a couple of days for my coffee on the way to work as usual. Everything was fine. The staff member was normally pleasant ("Thank you," got "You're welcome"). The coffee was delicious as always. The service was just fine, too! The coffee stayed in the cup as I got in and out of the car -- not on my trousers.
UPDATE: On my way to work I get a coffee, put it in the car and take it out at work. This is the second day that it dripped on my trousers, having done nothing but pick it up. Either the lid's not on or it's too full or both. The other day they left out that little green plug and it was too full. What a mess!
They are too aloof to greet a customer who enters. Of course this is not always the case, but the tall young lady who makes the takeouts is really zombie-esque. She doesn't respond to hello or thank you. Where did she learn basic hospitality?
ORIGINAL REVIEW These guys and gals are quick! I think that they must have the record for the shortest wait, though there frequently is a line. It's a popular place, but it seems there are always a couple of tables available. This isn't true for say, the Starbucks near Costco Sodo. Of course there is parking and it is kid friendly. Of course, they offer free WiFi. This year I have downloaded a couple of Starbucks Christmas Playlists on Spotify -- good curating of standards and classical. If you are in The North Admiral district, this easy-access Starbucks is worth a stop. If you have some time, the outdoor tables on the east side make a pleasant retreat. We keep going back and going...
Read moreTypical consistent Starbucks experience, however parking is the worst and their employees park in the lot, taking up 2 of the total 6 parking spots... (White Jeep Patriot and silver Toyota 4Runner)... not a problem, but these two cars are openers, There’s tons of street parking available on the other side of the building. They should park there in the morning so that the parking lot is available to customers during the busiest hours of the day while people are scrambling to work. As a former Starbucks partner at 5 different stores, I never let my employees park in the parking lot, especially when there’s limited parking.... every morning it’s a nightmare. If I don’t order my drink on the app, and double park behind the employee cars so that I can run and go quickly, I’m screwed, haha. Oh well, make it great...
Read moreOrdered my food on the Starbucks app. Got there to pick it up and was waiting, waiting, and waiting. Finally someone notices me standing waiting for a pickup when the store was pretty much slow and empty. I was told my food order is no longer available. Then they offered me an alternative. As I was eating my alternative sandwich, I noticed the one I ordered was more expensive. I should’ve at least gotten a partial refund. I’m now trying to navigate the Starbucks app to get my...
