Dollar General — Local services in Sebastian

Stores conveniently close to the house usually pretty solid everyone is cool had some unhappy to be there lady who refused to count 50 pennys!¡‽¡! I get like a bag full of pennies or 20 dollars in straight change but gave her a dollar in nickkes. And 50 pennys both serrated and to put the rest on the card so I could buy grandma a couple teas and my daughter some popsicles,,, embarrassing enough in a line with like 5 people behind me but to tell me I'm not counting those Penny's in front of 5 or other people in a snobby tone like I wanna walk up with Penny's asked to be counted not a bag full just like 50 60 at most even asked if she could just toss em in and round up a lesser amount nope couldn't. Be bothered, obviously wasting her time at dollar general trying to buy my kid popsicles so I had to put some back and than ask how much was goin in my card cuz if I would've swiped it first she's of over charged my card after all that and counting my nickles but not adding em to the price,,, idk if that was intentional but I was already mind biggies over nit counting 50nl friggin pennies lol anyways just thought it was interesting enough to post, so whatever you do don't go with change apparently counting isn't in the job discretion and only cards and dollars are acceoted maybe silver coins but those damn cooper pennies with good ole abe not haooening,,, and on top of that when I first walked up before the change she asked you can't ring it up over there at the self checkout guess she didn't even want to ring up anything and I was just some pain in the arse costumer wanting to buy something with money from a person at a register and not the self checkout machine smh don't worry they'll have nobody at stores soon enough and we'll all be screwed with self check out and 1800 costumer service numbers with automated machines you can't do anything but select number options too! Lol fun times good stuff hope she finds some kinda joy in her day rather be the rejected penny guy the. Then the shrewd won't count Penny's lady at dollar...

Despite "Masks Required" policy posted on this stores door, 90% of customers, and checkout clerks DO NOT wear masks here!

With over 200,000 US citizens DEAD by an easily preventable disease, COVID19, and although this Dollar General store has a sign POSTED on the front door stating ALL customers must wear masks, it is NOT enforced at the Sebastian, fl (32958) store, which is UNACCEPTABLE.

I am starting a web site about stores that do not enforce their own mask policy, (supported with pictures showing the offenders) and this store is THE VERY WORST store in the Sebastian, fl area (compared with local Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Publix, and Winn-Dixie).

90% of the customers were not wearing a mask at my last Dollar General store visit. Additionally, the clerk who checked me out was wearing a surgical mask that was untied at the top, so it hung down, exposing both her nose and her mouth!

Dollar General IS #1 for something - it is the #1 offender for promoting the spread of a potentially deadly disease. If you are concerned about COVID19 exposure, stay away from this store, or, if you go to this store, DEMAND that they stand behind their posted policies, as I am doing, post offenders on social media, take a photo of the posted mask policy, and then walk inside and take (and post) pictures of all of the people not made to comply with this policy, including those working for the company.

Social media makes a difference - today more than ever, we have a way to demand others do the very minor consideration of wearing a mask, and potentially saving the lives of fellow US citizens; the life you save may be your own, or that of your mother, your father, your grandparents or...

Had my stuff I was buying on the counter and asked for 3 packs of cigarettes, she forgot the cigarettes, wasn't until I noticed the price that she had forgotten the cigarettes so when I reminded her then she only gave me 2 packs and unfortunately I didn't notice until I got home. Her excuse was she was thinking about what she had to stock on the shelves. My response to that is when she is working the register she needs to be working the register and taking care of the clients at hand. When I came back for the third pack of cigarettes there was a woman standing at the register waiting to check out so I looked around and she was cleaning a freezer door, I had to get her attention her to come over to check out the lady that was standing...
