So let me just start with if it don’t apply let it fly that’s one of their favorite jargons. my whole time I integrity house I’d become worse than I had before I went in the way staff treats you it’s crazy the way they talk to you act towards you treat your families when they come to see you if they aren’t in a good mood, you have to suffer for it They sign you up for food stamps, and force you to sign or they say you can’t be in the program because you have to pay for food and board even though insurance covers everything and if you’re in a state program, they Pay for it and that’s everything so the whole signing up for food stamps, and all the other government helps They sign you up for they will lie to your family or they will not talk to your family when all your family wants to do is check on you if you have a good family they’ll try to you on your family They allow unacceptance bullying and will only do something about it if you make a whole big deal Or just push you down to the halfway house in a rehab you’re supposed to hire people who actually want to help The halfway house is another story. There are more drugs in that halfway house I would pass every day. On my way to work when I was down there and staff knows do they care only did Many staff have left integrity house because of how bad they felt a counselor Left integrity And on his last day Broke down and cried to us on how he was sorry that he was part of the place. If you say this isn’t so And I need to check my facts I still have my whole binder with date times things that were said Things that happen things that were stolen from people And what was done about it nothing Do you ever hear the phrase taken candy from a baby switched up to taking money from a kid? Slower than everyone else but has a good heart they let that go down knowing what was going on Because they didn’t want to fill out the paperwork. I’m not here to put anyone out of a job or get anyone in trouble I’m just letting people know what really goes on here because drug court will send clients here I graduated drug court. I have no record. There’s no probation officer for them to call. Staff treat the people here like human garbage. Group humiliation done by staff forcing other patients to participate. Gangs Gangs Gangs control the place behind the scenes, they put bloods, crips, and Latin kings all together in a dorm setting. Even if ur not affiliated with a gang if your dorm mate is in one you are automatically treated as an enemy of the rival gang. On the adult wing you would hear Screams at night of heroin addicts being strapped to beds while withdrawaling off IV heroin use cold turkey, mostly homeless people from the area men and women. Most of the kids in this place took it as a way out of minor drug offense and the "counselors" make them out to be bigger addicts, have more issues, or made up issues to justify their jobs to their bosses and government funding. The we had 3 bedbug outbreaks while I was there. Every day I woke up in sores and bites from them. The staff puts races against each other.. The name "therapeutic community" is a misnomer this place destroys peoples sense of self by "breaking you down to build you back up again" they use psychological tactics and tricks to make people submit. single out those they don't like especially; favoritism is rampant in this place. They make you do Roman chairs on the wall for hours on end without breaks basically until your legs start shaking and you collapse, starring at the wall for hours, forcing you to hold out your arms parallel with the ground and if you drop them your time starts all over again.. These "exercises" would be done for hours on end, some of the kids would puke or pass out from these extreme hazing or punishment rituals.

If you want your child to get better this is the last place you want to send them. They will come out of the experience worse than they were before.

If I was able to not give any stars at all, I would definitely do so. I had to leave this place on my own only on my 3rd day there. Place is a huge mess and is more like a kindergarten. Counselors just sit around all day not doing anything just making sure you are keeping each other busy so can stay off their back. Roaches and mice all over. Rooms don’t look anything like the pictures they have in their website. I walked into a dorm room that was unoccupied and the place looked like I hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Forks, spoons, papers, cups, etc all over the place. The room smelled like a New York subway. They really do not care about you at all. I can honestly say they just want people to go in there for the money. The food they provide is the same exact food you are going to receive in county in jail just a lit of a portion. Website states your loved ones can come in to visit you, that is a complete lie. My girlfriend called to ask about sending me snacks and stuff through mail, they gave her a name and website of a store she was able to order things for me. She clearly asked before she hung what she wanted to order and they said yes to everything. When I received my package they said I couldn’t have anything in the box even though some of the snacks were the same exact ones they give on there. They just wanted to give me what they provided for the obvious reason, the money. The list of complaints can go on but I just recommend everyone to stay from there.
