Restaurant Review: Tadka Fine Indian Cuisine Rating: ââââ½ (4.5/5) Tucked away in Secaucus, Tadka Fine Indian Cuisine offers a delightful culinary journey through the rich traditions of Indian cooking, making it a standout for locals and visitors alike. From the moment you step inside, the restaurant welcomes you with a warm ambiance that seamlessly blends contemporary design with traditional Indian elements, creating a cozy yet elegant dining atmosphere. The menu at Tadka is extensive, showcasing an impressive selection of both classic and contemporary Indian dishes. Each item is thoughtfully curated, ensuring that there is something for everyone â from spice aficionados to those preferring milder flavors. The aromatic spices and fresh ingredients are evident in every dish we tried, reflecting the chef's commitment to authenticity and quality. For appetizers, we indulged in the Vegetable Samosas and Chicken Tikka. The samosas were perfectly crisp, filled with a flavorful mix of spiced potatoes and peas, and served with a refreshing mint chutney. The Chicken Tikka was succulent and marinated to perfection, with a delightful char that added depth to the flavors. Both dishes were excellent starters that whetted our appetites for the main course. Moving on to the main course, we chose the Lamb Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken, accompanied by garlic naan and fragrant basmati rice. The Lamb Rogan Josh was a triumph; tender lamb chunks simmered in a rich, spiced gravy that was both robust and comforting. The Butter Chicken was equally impressiveâcreamy, slightly sweet, and laced with aromatic spices that harmonized beautifully; it was a true crowd-pleaser. The naan was soft and pillowy, perfect for scooping up every last bit of the delicious sauces. Tadka also offers a commendable selection of desserts, and we couldnât resist trying the Gulab Jamun. These sweet, syrup-soaked dumplings were the perfect end to our meal, light and exquisite, with just the right amount of sweetness. The service at Tadka was attentive and welcoming, with staff who were eager to share recommendations and ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. In conclusion, Tadka Fine Indian Cuisine excels in delivering a memorable dining experience with its exceptional food, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service. Whether you're a longtime lover of Indian cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore the flavors, Tadka is a fantastic destination that promises to satisfy your culinary cravings. I look forward to my next visit to explore more of their...

Read moreFood was good ,can't complain. Dining was a bit of juggling exercise especially when we were served on a table which was wobbly(perhaps due to uneven floor or due to one of the table legs broken).I wouldn't really care too much about it though.
Challenges : While placing the order , we ( 2 families with 4 adults and 3 kids ) indicated that we may place the order for masala chai towards the end of our main course. By the time my daughter was finishing her food , the owner advises that another group is waiting for the space and she would really appreciate if we could sort of rush up..( hmmm ). Here comes the twist. We asks for the masala chai which we mentioned earlier . The gentleman who served us went to seek his bosses advice and 30 seconds later surprisingly we were advised they don't have masala chai. ( Perhaps the owner forgot she said earlier she can serve masala chai ) .So we asked for coffee instead and were advised that they ran out of milk( no kidding). What I could sense was , they were getting an order for a minimum $50 from the group waiting outside , so what benefit would be there in serving $10...
