GREAT SPOT!!! I stayed 3 days. Amazing views of the northern Sedona valley and epic wide sunsets complete walking trails and benches with history markers 🤩 Though tons mountain bikers arrive anywhere between 5-9am which makes sleep at those times tough. Sporadic 3 bars of 5G on weekends and late nights on weekdays but mostly 1-3 bars of LTE which actual itself was enough to stream videos inside the van. Trash piles up from guests so PLEASE REMOVE TRASH Mr. Boy Scout to be cleaner than you when you arrived ☺️There is a history marker about this location being a former dump now made into a park 🙂

Visited the area to mountain bike. As a family, it can be tough to find trails challenging enough for our advanced riders, but also "user friendly" enough for me, our least experienced rider. We rode Stirrup (green) and parts of Saddle Up (green) and Girdner. The views were beautiful. Plenty of signage, hills, rocks, roots and places to chill and have a snack. The team at Thunder Mountain bikes were great in helping us find nearby trails. Very fun day! Kids will sleep well tonight!

Hidden Beauty: This was the first-time I hiked from the culture park down to the hidden little canyon of the DRY CREEK. The maps provided are out of proportion and the hike was more difficult than I thought but amazing and beautiful. (There are much easier hikes too) Just consider to have a hike tracking on, so you don't get lost. I used my Android Health Hiking tracking App. And ofcause don't go alone into the desert and have water with you!!! Here some pictures:
