Very beautiful hike. In the middle of the town yet seems so peaceful and distant from everything. I did not find the hike too scary or treacherous. It wasn’t too easy because it’s a bit rocky but it’s not difficult. Lots of hikes in Arizona are rocky so I am a bit used to it. The biggest problem I have at this hike is the parking. It’s hard to find parking at the trail head and I am not sure if you can walk to it from the bottom of the hill. If I can find parking this would be one of my favorite hikes in Sedona that I would do this hike...

You can head all the way to the top to the airport where you can pay $3 to park or just a little bit up the road after turning onto Airport Road there’s a parking area on your left that holds about 15 cars. Read moreThe loop was a great intro to Sedona and seeing it all. If you do the entire loop from the parking lot, it is about six miles. Since it’s at the airport, it wasn’t quiet by any means. I saw 8-9 other groups on the trail. It’s Spring, and many plants are in bloom. The trial has good signage, but I also was able to follow along on Google Maps without an issue.
