Park West — Attraction in Seguin

Wonderful park! Lots of shaded areas to sit and picnic,or enjoy watching the kids play. Even portions of the playscape area are shaded to prevent "butt burn" on the slides. The splash pad was wonderful! Lots of fun for the little ones ( moms and dads were enjoying it as well). There are bike and walking trails, and the skate park is right there as well. The restrooms were well maintained and the park was incredibly clean. This is a wonderful gem in Seguin. Starkey Park should add a splash pad. I know the wave pool is there, but the hoarded of littles there could cool of at the splash pad, then continue to play. We will be using the Park...

Very nice park and splash pad. Has bathroom which is great when u have kids. There is a nice skate park and walking trails. My kids love it and we try to go often.....That being said ...The surroundings area is not very safe. Daytime/afternoon visit is best People smoking weed in the evening around there. We try to leave by dinner time. But be aware of your surroundings. We have never experienced anything unsafe but I have heard stories. I would be a bit nervous for young women alone on trails. Lots of places for ambush...

Took the grandbabies over for the Splash pad and the park and they had a blast. Playground has the cushioned turf so no skinned knees with all the running and playing they did. Only downfall on the bigger playground set that had the net in the center, there were really long walkways up to the slides with lots of openings so not a good idea for little toddlers unless you...
