So I must say I had stopped dining in at this neighborhood spot for a while due to they would clean with Fabuloso and OMG you could smell in food and it was also always cold in there. But Drive Thru always an option which worked out great as their caldos and tacos and Mexican plate are awesome. But most recently my husband said they remodeled so we ventured back inside. We have been back 3 times within 2 weeks. Perfect temperature. Our waitress always very nice. They tend to you pretty quick. My go to is Carne Guisada taco. It is the brownish gravy (not red), the meat is very tender, the tortillas homemade and my taco is huge and very filling. My husband's and grandsons go to, is the Carne Asada plate and have gotten each time we come. Normally for to go we always order the Mexican plate for my son and husband . Great menu prices!! Always open even late. Lately always driving around to see which Mexican restaurant as many now close early but not this one. Always plenty of parking. Honestly the to go line sometimes have to wait bit but worth it as food comes out fresh and hot! Tortillas are really good!!!

The tacos here are usually good. There has been numerous ownership changes and inconsistencies with the food and we won't get into the past health code issues. But, it seems to have reached a point of normalcy with the new owners and cooks. It is my go to place for tacos. Open 24 hours on the weekends. The waitresses are nice but that has nothing to do with taste of food. Expect a wait in the drive through.

My companion and I needed brunch and this establishment delivered. The first green flag was a herd of local PD dining there. Folks who know the town know where to eat. Good came out quick. Tortillas were the best I have had in years. Very good prices. My companion and I made quick work of the food. No talking. It was that good.

This was a laid back filling and fulfilling way to end a day or at the park! The prices and the portions are Great! Today was my first time coming back to this place in years! My opinion at that time was fairly low, I'm very happy my friends talked me into coming here! They have really stepped up their game! Especially as far as flavor goes! I ordered a carne guisada taco and a bean and cheese taco, both on flour tortillas, Yum! My tortillas were soft, fluffy and warm and they did not taste store bought! The carne guisada (beef/brown gravy) I ordered was flavored well and the meat was cut into manageable portions.(I really dislike when the meat is cut into huge pieces, it makes me feel as I have to gnaw through the taco lol that is not cute!) Green and red chilli are on the tables in squeeze bottles, I used the salsa Verde (Green) on both tacos, it was perfect!! Sometimes when I order bean and cheese tacos I feel like I "have to" shake half a shaker of salt onto the beans in order to get any flavor BUT I used very little and the taco was quite enjoyable and did not lack in flavor! Although I feel the service could use a tweak here and there, overall the young lady who waited on us (she was the only waitress in duty) was nice and quick! I'm very content with my choice to eat here and hope to do...

You pull up to a run down looking joint and expect at least decent food or service, you will get neither here. Las Palmas is THE WORST taco place in all of Seguin. I've been to them all, and I would recommend going anywhere but here. I was the very first order of the day and it took 30 minutes to make my order (ONLY 4 TACOS!). Even on their slowest days you will call 100 times with no answer and then wait on hold for 15mins before they hang up on you and you just have to drive there to get anything done. The staff was very unfriendly and stand-offish. The tortillas tasted like cheapest store bought tortillas possible, and were so thin that the taco instantly breaks the whole time you try to eat. The salsa tasted like ketchup, onions, and crush red pepper mixed together. The insides of the taco were very sloppy, all of the bacon was in a pile on one side of each taco. Would not recommend to anyone I know. I will have to warn people as often as possible to save them their time and money and taco experience. Awful place, awful food, awful service, awful...
