Delaware County Community College - Southeast Center — Attraction in Sharon Hill

The school is TERRIBLE. And it starts with their director Jane. They are all terrible . Whenever you go to them they act as if they are annoyed, frustrated with you . DCCC needs to get rid of Jane. She picks and choices who she wants to be helpful too. They have forgot that they are dealing with “Adults and not Children” and everyone should be treated as such. They have also forgot the most important concept that “We are paying to attend this community college and some of us are paying double. When you call up there they questioned why you want to speak to someone and they will Lie and tell you someone is not there and they really are. Because the person doesnt want to come to the phone. These are the mischievous things they do. And when you recognize that this is something they have done, and you bring it to their attention they treat you like your the bad guy or try and label you as a angry and upset individual. To switch gears somewhat They have 2 counselor who are my all time favorite. “Mrs. Gail and Mr. Ralph.” They are the best. The rest of them are ok, but my favorite are those two. Also Megan in fiancial aid is amazing too. Now their security guard Aston is something else too. I came to class on last night and He followed me to class asking me “What I was doing.” I have attended DCCC since 2015 and that has never happened to me . It happen last night. And i viewed that as Intimidation . Because there was nothing I did to warrant that behavior. This particular school has too many people involved in student affairs and things that dont concern them. Which is unfair to the students/ ADULTS who attend this school. The security guy should not be asking me anything about a conversation between myself and my teacher because it has nothing to do with him. HE COULD NOT HELP ME WITH ANY ISSUES REGARDING MY TEACHER . The receptionist his/her job is to answer the phone ! Not get involved into student affairs. When people are aware of situations that a students has going and the student did not informed them. That is a clear indication that someone is discussing things that they should not be discussing. And that is Wrong. Where is the students rights and confidentiality? At the school...

They should have a bookstore for those who are in need of a specific class book that have to go all the way to media to buy one instead of just simply going to the campus that is near the student's...
