A must-visit beautiful paddlewheel ship at the heart of Shelburne museum! Whenever we visit the museum, the ship is a must-visit! It’s preserved exceptionally well, from the engines all the way up to the lounges and cabins! We went on a fairly empty weekday, so the lady working gave us some info about the ship and showed us some spots we never would’ve seen on our own! Always surprised by this place as you learn something new every time!

The story of the ship is amazing as how the ship got to it's final resting place. It tells the story of a whole different era in American History. This is so worth the trip. The whole museum is handicap accessible and the people working there really treat you well.

Lots of character and history of this rare boat and the amazing story of how it got on land. There is usually someone in the wheelhouse to ask questions. There are guided tours available.
