Bought $2,500 worth of appliances from this place...we bought a new house, moved, and needed new appliances. We always support local businesses, so was told that this place was good. They were wrong. First, I was told that I had to have a plumber install the dishwasher, that was the first lie. Next, the delivery for all my appliances never happened, didn't get a call, I had to chase Doug to get answers, and pretty much got so frustrated that I just wanted it over with. Was told plumber was Doug's brother, he is not. Many times the ball was dropped and was pretty much told to get over it. Pretty much a rip off when my fridge came in dented, and they offered 150 off, but on closer inspection, there's many places dented and scratched. Pretty sure they pull this with others...I am going to call all the manufacturers to make sure I actually have a warranty, they took all of that, claiming they turn it in. Seems sketchy, and I will not recommend to anyone. Will not buy from them again. Going to do some investigating on what is up, feel like I got the run around much of the time. I will say that the plumber guy was nice, but didn't show up on the last day he was supposed too, so my husband finished the job in less than 5 minutes. That was about the only thing that was positive.
EDIT.....After posting this, about a week and a half later, one of our cars had it's tire slashed. Personally, I'm not surprised. This has prompted us to install IR cameras, three to be exact, and contacted the local police department. Report was made, and they suggested the cameras, so we are covered. Now, we have video of basically anyone that remotely comes close to our home, nice, clear, crisp video, day or night, front and back, all recorded. Got some pretty funny video of the neighbors, trying to back up their truck. Needed the laugh. Oh, and the two guys that showed up, took pics of our house, no they were not insurance, got their license plate number, and and the local police are aware of you. No worries, we will have ...
Read moreI had them come out November 2024. Paid the trip fee same day. I was told they were going to look at parts needed and call me. A week later I heard nothing. I ended up buying a new washer. A few weeks later, I got a call saying parts were in and they wanted to schedule. I explained that I never heard back so I bought a new machine elsewhere. He apologized for lack of communication. I thought we were done. July 2025 I get a bill for a trip fee. Called they said oh, well look into it and reach back out. Didn't hear anything from them again. Until today. In my mailbox is an invoice with a late fee. Called office and no answer. They did no work, talked about my washer looking like a spaceship and something he's never seen before so he had to go look up parts and give me a call with an estimate. Read morePurchased a gas range and microwave 9/14/24 at the Columbus store and told it had to be ordered and the expected date or arrival was to be the middle of October. Phoned the Columbus store 10/29 and got Doug from the Shelbyville store. He proceeded to tell me that the Columbus store closed “for financial reasons” and I informed him of my order that was placed. He told me he would check on it and make it right! He was suppose to update me by the next day at the latest (10/30). Still haven’t heard anything!! I left 3 messages 11/2, 11/5 & today. Still with no response! I paid them for the appliances on 9/14! Terrible customer service!!! I do NOT recommend them to anyone!!! I have a bad feeling that the Shelbyville store closed as well...
