Cooper Steel Arena (formerly Calsonic Arena) — Attraction in Shelbyville

We purchased tickets "online" and paid extra fees for the motorcross races in Feb of 2025. We get there and first of all they tell us that all handicap parking is full (we have a disabled teen). There is a whole lot roped off with no cars. Secondly we ask where to check in with online tickets. There are people lined up and circled around past the stop sign out front, a good 30 minute wait. They have 1 windows open. We are told if you bought an online ticket you still have to stand in line to get a wristband! What is the point in buying online and paying extra fees then? Once we do get to the windows, they have now opened one more, we are told they are out of wristbands and to go on in. We then go to get consessions and literally stand in line for 45 minutes. They have 1 window open. We spent over 300.00 this night between tickets and food and enjoyed the races but do better on...

We had a great time at the monster truck rally! Deffinately would do this again! Only thing I have to say on the downside is I wish they would've performed tricks/stunts in the monster trucks. It was still cool to watch, but after watching the trucks jump the ramps and do donuts a few times, it became redundant. Not sure why they didn't do anything else to put on a better show, but I assume it was due to the fact of the arena being slightly on the small side. We went there for the flat track series. It was horrible. 15 dollars for admission x3 and 5 for parking. The races took forever to start the main was scheduled to start at 630 it was 930 when we left without seeing the main event . It hadn't even started yet. The steam itself wasnt bad so the review is a little off but. FFS do not waste your money or with this flat track series. Will be finding a different sponsored flat...
