I purchased an entire box of peaches, from this company, that were hard as a rock and no flavor. Before I paid to have them delivered, I made sure to ask four times if they were ripe and sweet before I purchased them. After seeing that they were hard and tasteless, I contacted them to exchange them, or return them. I was told that if I could not drive them back to a facility within two days, that I could not exchange them. I work 12 hour days, so bringing them back to the local Farmer's Market was my only option. If you want 99¢/lb, then enjoy the bland King Soopers California peaches. If you want a true taste of the Colorado western slope, it’s gonna cost a little more, but as with everything in life - you get what you pay for. I think it’s a steal, considering the price of fuel this summer, as well as all of the other inflation factors. I look forward to the markets every week, and seeing what’s...
