Longshot Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Sheridan

Went to play poker with my mom and hubby. The league is called 5280. I had such a great time. As a former bartender of 20+ years I tend to look for certain things such as being acknowledged as a customer, the consistency of services, and of course quality of drink. Though the waitress\bartender walked by several times we had to go to bar for our drinks, no suggestive selling, my drink lacked garnishment (salt and limes) I had a Margarita. The drink itself was a mix which is OK but my preference was not asked as I prefer a shaken from scratch, even though it was a mix made, it was just thrown on ice. The place overall is pretty OK. They accused us of bringing drinks outside while we were calling our uber, even though they have cameras that prove them wrong. They brought out some old dude wearing a gold chain to intimidate us, as well as self described, "fellow veterans" to calm us down. We were perfectly calm and reasonably talking. Went back inside to apologize because my girlfriend and I loved the bar and atmosphere. Bartender who was clearly wrong and irate wanted to yell and hide behind a customer, as cowards do, and one of their apparent "employees" tackled me, injuring my girlfriend in the process. We are suing. All it took was 5 minutes of reviewing the cameras to see they were wrong, and they refused. Cops were called, and we'll be seeing them in court. I'm sure their camera data will mysteriously be corrupted...

Where to start... the bathrooms smell up the entire bar. They do not care or take pride in their establishment. They electronically meter/measure the alcohol pours which slows down the service terribly. Just teach bartenders how to count their pours. Unless you are willing to pay 50 cents per song for the jukebox, expect to enjoy your trip to Longshots in complete silence. Yep, this bar doesn't even do ambient music.
