Sheridan County Travel & Tourism — Attraction in Sheridan

This place is kind of cool it's a rest area and information hub I guess two in one thing. I just happen to me to use the restroom on my drive through the area and end up here but they do have a cool three-dimensional topographical map in the information area under a bubble dome that shows the whole region in a pretty cool way. The restrooms were clean and it seemed like a safe place there was nothing shady or decrepit or broken down about anything around here. One of the better rest stops...

We stopped in to get info Sunday July 15 and only the bathrooms were open. Not happy and neither were the 2 dozen others who tried. . It would have been easy enough to staff one person just to be there to hand out info to anyone stopping by. I understand it was the last day of your rodeo but not a valid excuse. We did however stop at the visitors center in Gillette and Angela was spectacular. Your center should take pointers from her! We will not be stopping by Sheridan again...

I discovered the Sheridan Sculpture Walk from a pamphlet from this location. And I've been wanting to post some pictures of the sculptures and haven't located any website in which to do so. Therefore, I am going to place them here. Because the traveling public should wander and admire them. They are really good! (Boulder City, Nevada.....watch out.) I probably would have figured the Sculpture Walk out on my own, but it was nice to see it...
