I REALLY liked this place. My intention was to buy all groceries possible from them, as their selection is limited. That was until I purchased a 15 dollar bottle of vitamins with a broken seal. I normally would not pay much worry to this but supposedly we just went through a pandemic, with a disease that is supposedly air transferable and exists on surfaces.... The owner proceeded to tell me that she more than likely thought it was I who was running a scam and that the plastic seal was gone. How would I find that the air tight seal was broken without removing the plastic? Genius. I understand that people out there that are dishonest. But rather than handle these issues on a case by case basis the owner handled it by casting aspersions on me. I will never spend my money in this shop again and intend on frequenting the Good Health Market and other options in the...
Read moreI tried this place years ago and was uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the store and the customer service. Then my husband made a purchase for me yesterday and it was the wrong item. The receipt unfortunately was discarded but good thing it was the same clerk and she recalled the purchase. Whoops no, they would not accept the unopened item as a return, an exchange, or a store credit even though she remembered my husband purchasing it. This thanks via the owner who sat in a back room and never appeared. Never will we darken the doors. There are other places that treat you like customers and friends, we...
Read moreIn support of Jamie's recent experience, I'm here to also vocalize the abuse I've encountered from the owner. Enough is enough. Sheridan, it's time to support businesses who treat their customers with kindness and respect, not hostility and rage. Running a business means you will have to deal with issues with the products you sell, and treat customers fairly when they bring these issues to your attention, not exploding at them in rage. I really hope the owner of this business can get the mental health help she needs because there is something seriously wrong with a person who screams at their customers any time they have an issues to bring to her attention. And until she does, she needs to put someone else in charge and stop subjecting innocent people to her...
