Update: The lake across the street needs to be combed with all the seaweed they have on the beach. We wanted to go swimming yet it had way too much. Otherwise, It's one of my kids favorite parks. There is a little pump that you can push that has water come out where the kids can build a little dam.. (That's across the street from the beach.) It has a few slides and great swings for Mom's with infants to be able to swing with the infant. Clean, private bathrooms and across the street you can go swimming. Read moreThis is a small beach (no lifeguard). Across the street there is a play area for little ones with a walking path as well. There is ample parking and the restroom facilities are superb and there is one building on each side of the park. There’s a pavilion with bbq grills and picnic tables for a larger group and possibly private rental I assume. The Amenities are top notch and the surrounding environment is quiet and feels like you are in the middle of nature. The park is usually not crowded and it’s fairly clean and the best...
Read moreI'm writing this review for many years back. I used to go to the beach here almost every week during the summer. The sandy beach was on the smallish side but there was a decent amount of room for setting up blankets for picnics. There were trees to give shade if you needed to get out of the sun. The beach was on the shallower side so as long as that is the same it is good for kids. Easy to get to and set off a bit from the busier roads.
They are doing some major work at the moment so not sure what all is going to happen to the park...
