Valvoline Instant Oil Change — Attraction in Silverton

I have always trusted Oilcan Henry's, but this location has been going downhill ever since they got bought out by Valvoline. I had the worst experience today. I had several things that needed to be taken care of but I'm only going to focus on the biggest issue. They left the windshield wipers on the hood of my car instead of installing them. I realized that they were still in the packaging when they almost flew off my car while I was driving on the road. Went back and got the typical apology from the two guys topside. The techs then had so much trouble trying to get the wiper blades off that my driver's side windshield wiper arm was broken in the process. Had to go back to the shop for the third time to have them look at the wipers and confirm that they had been broken. Now I have to take my car to a mechanic to get my windshield wipers fixed because that one guy didn't know how to remove a wiper blade. He was too focused on trying to upsell me on things then too busy chatting with the other guys in the shop. I would not recommend this location. The manager was nice and friendly enough and asked me if there was anything he could do same-day to help the situation but I didn't know what to say. I just paid to have my car broken and now I have to take time out to get it fixed in the hopes that they will cover the repairs. I'm...

Upon arriving and getting my routine oil change and filters replaced Chris and I chatted for a sec about the importance of taking care of your workplace and making sure the job is done right. Coming from retail experience I know how hard it can be to make sure everyone is satisfied with your work.

These guys are doing a mighty fine job here at Valvoline. They aren't pushy with selling you things. All they give is recommendations and what they think is best for you and your vehicle. It's for the benefit of YOU!

Each guy that works there is friendly and knows what they are doing. They don't just fix the problem but explain it to you and how to make your car run its best. They showed me my oil filter and gave me the option to get it replaced rather than forcing it in me. I'm glad they showed me the condition it was in because that was something I didn't even think to take a look at. They checked to make sure all my lights were functioning and replaced one that I didn't know was out. They genuinely want you to take care of your car and to be safe out on the road.
