UNATTENTIVE SLOW SERVICE. SOMEKIND OF MEAT MASQUERADING AS SKIRT STEAK WALLOWING IN TABASCO FLAVORED HOT SAUCE. Seated about 1:30. About a third full. So not busy. Noted to the waitress that we didn't realize It was still brunch as the menu indicated. She never pointed out or offered that we could have the other menu a few minutes later. Waited over 1/2 hour for the food. The skirt steak was chopped up, salty, grisly and too spicy. Skirt steak is not grisly. I like spicy food. When I go to Indian or Mexican restaurants I ask them to make it as spicy as they can. Some of the mouthfuls tasted like someone dumped Tabasco on it , a flavor I find unpleasant. But the overpowering heat was coming from something else. Overpowering=hinders the ability to taste the other ingredients. The waitress did not come back until we were done. So for the hour we were there she came to the table to take our order, brought the water once, then the food. I asked her what kind of pepper was used since I was having a difficult time enjoying the dish. Didn't know so she asked the kitchen. Came back saying all they told her was that it was called Sambac sauce and didn't know what it was. Never asked how the food was.... and we would have told her. I paid the bill,...

This review might be a little long. End reading here if glasses are needed.
Firstly, the outside appearance doesn't match the inside. Immediately stepping inside felt like being transported to another country.
While the overall hues used might be a bit darker, the whole place felt really cozy in a 'let's have a business lunch here' kind of way. Does that make sense? Works for me.
The food: excellent. I was attacked by cheese and goodness and chicken with no legitimate way to defend myself. Yes, I ate the veggies too. With gluten free options my family members don't have to regret anything later.
Draw backs? Parking will become difficult if this gem becomes well known. Also, the bathrooms don't appear to support disabilities.
While children can enter, the atmosphere is clearly mature, but in a responsible sense. I'm not implying you'll become a responsible adult if you eat here. Mm, at least I wasn't cured of my infantile mentality.
Overall? Great place. Get some food, relax for a bit, squeeze in some laughs with friends or family. Make time...
Read moreUpdate: appreciate the owner response- I’m sure the food is fantastic based on other reviews, but didnt change our experience. Making reservations on a Mother’s Day in a small town just seems unnecessary. But it’s their restaurant, they can do as they wish. Original review: Called in to check seating for Mother’s Day brunch. The hostess that answered stated they would have no seating available, but then digressed and said they had one seat after all, but hurry in!!. I reluctantly agreed, and we headed to the restaurant. Upon parking (empty lot) we walked in to the bar which was a weird entrance, and then we’re seated in the main restaurant area. Immediately noticed there were only two families eating in a restaurant of 15 tables, how are they full and not allowing more people? We sat down and were presented with a structured three course brunch priced at over $100 for 2 people 1 child. We waited for five or 10 minutes we’re not helped, knew that we under a strict timeframe, and the waitresses knew as well. After no help and our time ticking...
